MyFidelio.net is a next generation application framework that combines
state-of-the-art technology with advanced user features to deliver
the hospitality industry with a flexible and easy-to-use reservation
solution. myfidelio.net offers an Application Service Provider (ASP)
model with database and application partitioning that provides unlimited
scalability.
MyFidelio.net is hosted in the Micros Fidelio datacenter in Frankfurt/Germany.
This datacenter is a joint technology venture provided by the world's
leading hospitality software provider (Micros Fidelio) together
with the world's leading hardware provider (HP) and the world's
leading communication provider (MCI).

Integration
A key feature of MyFidelio.net application is its ability to create
a single image inventory environment for each property that can
be easily managed and presented to all relevant sales channels.
All Micros Fidelio hotel solutions can be integrated with the MyFidelio.net
application. Standard interface technology makes it possible to
combine all property management system applications with central
reservations and distribution platforms worldwide. MyFidelio.net
will be soon an integral part of the OPERA suite of Micros Fidelio
products.
The OPERA Enterprise Solution (OES) is a fully integrated
suite of products consisting of modules that can be easily added
or expanded allowing effective and easy deployment from smaller
operations to global, multi-branded hotel chain environments. OES
can be deployed in any size of environment, from a single property
with just Front Office to a large, full service hotel with Sales & Marketing, Catering, Revenue Management, Quality Management,
Back Office, and Materials Management.

Web
site booking engine
The web site booking engine enables a hotel to receive room bookings
directly from the property's web site. The hotelier can use the
power of the MyFidelio.net Internet booking engine whilst an Application
Program Interface (API) allows to connect his web site with the
MyFidelio.net application. The API allows the hotel to customize
the web site booking engine.

GDS connectivity
The MyFidelio.net application hosted by Micros Fidelio provides
seamless connections to all four major GDS´s, Amadeus, Sabre,
Galileo and Worldspan. Via our GDS switch provider WizCom we guarantee
seamless connectivity to nearly 500,000 travel agents worldwide
with rate and availability updating and add-on distribution to GDS-powered
portals.
As Global Distribution Systems will continue to be a major player
in the travel market for some time to come, MyFidelio.net invests
in developing enhanced performance of its GDS connectivity (e.g.
seamless next generation connectivity, web services).

Standards
Micros Inc. is member of the Hotel Electronic Distribution Network
Association (HEDNA), a not-for-profit trade association whose worldwide
membership includes over 200 of the most influential companies in
the hotel distribution industry. All of HEDNA's activities are intended
to stimulate hotel bookings through the use of Global Distribution
Systems (GDS´s), the Internet and other electronic means (www.hedna.org).
Micros Inc. is supporting Open Travel Alliance (OTA) initiative,
a self-funded, non-profit organization (www.ota.org)
. OTA is comprised of major airlines, hoteliers, car rental companies,
leisure suppliers, travel agencies, global distribution systems
(GDS), technology providers and others working to create and implement
industry-wide, open e-business specifications. These specifications
form a common e-business language that will encourage development
of systems to create new collections of services to better meet
the demands and expectations of travellers and the travel industry.

an industry organization to facilitate the development of next-generation,
